Question by shooting : How does going to a credit counseling service affect your credit rating ?
My credit score is so low, I?m gonna need a backhoe to dig it up, but I do not want to make it worse by going to a credit counseling service. Will I be able to buy a house while making payments to said service? Best answer:

Answer by Dixie Darlin ? No you will not be
able to buy a house. CCS will effect your credit rating, however it will cause less damage than a Bankruptcy, creditors will see that you are trying to pay your bills.
